As well as this, he now also performs Collaginase injections for suitable Dupuytren's contractures in a new technique that has become available. He has a particular interest in wrist fracture fixation and has been involved in teaching this technique to other surgeons throughout Europe.
Mr Warner qualified from St Andrews in 1984 and Manchester Universities in 1987 before embarking on his surgical training in the North West. His final fellowship year consisted of a 6-month national fellowship in Hand Surgery in Manchester and a 6-month fellowship in the Upper Limb Unit at Wrightington Hospital.
Mr Warner was a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the Royal Bolton Hospital from 1st October 1998, until January 2023 when he retired. He still practices at Beaumont, having also been with us since 1998. He is involved in research and his work has been presented at regional and national meetings. He is currently involved in research into wrist fracture fixation.
