How to pay for your care
There are a variety of ways you can pay for UK healthcare:
-
You can self-refer and fund your own care with us here in the UK.
Our international patient team can help you organise your payment instalments should you opt to fund your own treatment. They will share all the information provided to them with your consultant and clinical team to obtain a proposed treatment plan and anticipated length of stay in the UK, so that a quotation can be provided to you for the cost of your treatment.
If you wish to proceed with the proposed plan and expenses, then the international team will share the bank details for the requested deposit to be made prior to your arrival in the UK. We do not take payment over the phone. Our interpreter services will help you feel informed and confident at every stage of your care, including your self-pay journey. Our interpreters work closely with your healthcare team to ensure that every aspect of your treatment, from your appointments to recovery instructions, is clearly understood. This service not only helps overcome language barriers, but also builds confidence, reduces anxiety, and ensures that you can make well-informed decisions about your care with complete peace of mind.
We can book your initial consultation during our first call to discuss your treatment. We can also help you book your transport and arrange accommodation for your loved ones here in the UK before you arrive.
As a self-funded patient, you will benefit from rapid access to the best consultant for your individual circumstances and fast appointment times with minimal waiting.
-
We provide direct access to world-class care for patients with international insurance cover, whether you’re living overseas or residing and working in the UK with international health insurance.
We have established partnerships with most major global private medical insurers, assistance companies, and other third-party organisations, allowing fast access to our hospitals and extensive range of services.
Your insurance company will contact ours team requesting an appointment for their member, providing them with a medical referral. The team will then arrange an appointment with one of our specialist consultants. The Insurance company will provide the pre-authorisation and policy details for their member. On other occasions and depending on the members policy, you might be asked to present this information at the time of your appointment. The insurance company will then issue the Guarantee of Payment (GOP) to the team to distribute to the relevant hospital site, consultant or department.
Our international patient team also continues to develop new relationships across the global healthcare market, ensuring that patients can get cutting-edge treatment, wherever they are in the world.
-
At Circle Health Group, we also work closely with foreign embassies and government ministries around the world. As an embassy -sponsored patient, you will receive a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, with consultant-led care provided by the same expert team throughout your journey. Our international patient services include complimentary meals for your relatives (at no additional cost to your embassy), free airport transfers, and assistance with booking accommodation and appointments.
We also provide professional interpreter services to support clear communication at every stage of your care, along with regular updates to your sponsoring embassy to keep them fully informed of your progress.
-
Your medical report must:
- Clearly identify you/the patient
- Be less than one month old

In some instances, we will require an up-to-date medical report with details of your present condition, your recent medical history, a provisional diagnosis, and the treatment or investigations it’s expected you’ll need.
